Real Madrid want to extend Toni Kroos’ stay at the club, reports Marca.

Club figures are expected to start contract talks next week, once Kroos has personally confirmed his desire to continue at the Bernabeu.

His current deal expires in June 2020, and Madrid are expected to extend it by a further two or three years.

Manchester City have shown interest in Kroos, but it is believed the German midfielder wants to stay in the Spanish capital

With international break wrapping up soon, the Real Madrid directors look to get back to work and use the coming weeks to secure some of the squad’s most important players to longer-term deals.
