Ronald Koeman had revealed that striker, Romelu Lukaku has stated his desire to remain at the club.
The striker was looking to move away from the club, with Chelsea looking to sign him again, after he scored 25 goals last season.
However, according to Koeman, Lukaku is in no rush to leave Merseyside and looks set to remain with Everton for the coming campaign.
“He told me on Friday that he made the decision by himself to stay for at least one more season,” said Koeman, who also added that a new, improved contract for Lukaku was also a possibility.
“It’s great news for everybody.”
